Dietitians advised against fatigue seen in most people in the fall days when the metabolic rate changes.
Dietitians, who are experts in their field, noted that in the last month of autumn, there may be problems such as the body's preparation for winter, diseases, weakening of immunity and inactivity and weakness that develop with the early darkening and cooling of the weather, and made the following suggestions to increase resistance during this period:
“With the cooling of the weather, the body may reduce the energy it spends to adapt to the temperature change, try to catch the balance of calories you take and spend. Cold weather may reduce your desire for water, but try to consume 35ml/kg of water daily. You can suppress your increased carbohydrate cravings with balanced protein content in your meals, snacks made with fruits and nuts will help. Try to add physical activity at least 2 to 3 times a week (1-hour walks) to compensate for increased inactivity. Consuming colorful fruits and vegetables of the season and taking vitamins, minerals and fiber will strengthen your immunity. Turmeric, ginger, honey, herbal and fruit teas are good alternatives for your immunity. Since vitamin D3 level is important especially in winter months, you can have it tested and checked (Desired range 20-50 ng/ml)”
