Dulkadir said, “Breast milk intake is worth every drop of gold for the child. It is vital for children's survival and early childhood development. Breastfeeding of the mother has benefits for the survival of the baby as well as for the family and society.”
Stating that breast milk is fresh and not contaminated by micro-organisms, Dulkadir continued his statement as follows:
“Feeding the child with breast milk also protects the mother from cancer types. In addition to the development of maternal feeling, it also helps the mother to lose weight. Breast milk not only meets the nutritional needs of the baby, but also causes its development and protection from diseases. Breastfeeding can continue until the age of 2 and beyond.”
