Stating that early diagnosis saves lives in the fight against cancer, Genç District Governor Muhammet Güzel said, “Such screening programs are the most effective way to fight the disease.”
In Bingöl's Genç district, Cancer Early Diagnosis, Screening and Education Center (KETEM) mobile vehicle served in front of Yenişehir Family Health Center. Genç District Governor Güzel visited the screening vehicle and received information about cancer screening activities carried out for women and men.
Emphasizing the importance of early diagnosis in cancer, District Governor Muhammet Güzel said, “Early diagnosis saves lives in the fight against cancer. It is especially important for our women to have regular breast cancer screening between the ages of 40-69 and to secure their health with cervical and colon cancer screenings. Likewise, our male citizens should not neglect colon cancer screenings. Such screening programs are the most effective way to fight the disease.”
