Anger control and tolerance problems
Pointing out that it is very important for each individual to evaluate their own mental state, Dr. Aker said, “Your motivation when you wake up in the morning, your desire to go to work, your social relationships and how you see yourself in the mirror are indicators of your mental health.” Pointing out that anger control problems have also increased recently, Dr. Aker said, “This situation negatively affects human relations. Our tolerance level is gradually decreasing and this causes people to react more negatively to each other.”
Beware of depressive moods
Dr. Aker underlined that these negativities in mental health can lead to despair and lower expectations, which can trigger depressive moods. He said that individuals should be aware of their own emotional states and should not hesitate to seek professional support when necessary. He stated that the changing world conditions after the pandemic negatively affected individual and social mental health.
