Healing waters pioneer health tourism

Kerem Canarslanlar, CMO-Marketing President of Oruçoğlu Thermal Hotel, stated that they plan to provide services to both domestic and foreign patients by obtaining the health tourism authorization certificate.

Kerem Canarslanlar, President of CMO-Marketing, stated that they have taken important steps towards becoming a pioneer in the field of health tourism. Explaining that they focus especially on the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and European markets, Canarslanlar said that they aim to ensure that patients from these regions are treated through Turkey's advanced healthcare system. Emphasizing that they attach great importance to health tourism projects, Canarslanlar said that the therapeutic properties of thermal waters will be utilized in this process.


Stating that the interest in thermal waters is no longer limited to older age groups, Canarslanlar said that young people also show interest in such treatment processes, “Turkey's economic advantages and quality health services direct young people to thermal tourism options. Although the traditional average age of thermal tourism is above 60, people of all ages are now interested in such health services.”

“7 to 77 show interest in health tourism

Stating that the awareness of the therapeutic elements of thermal waters has increased and that this has become a global trend, Canarslanlar said: “The increasing interest of young people in thermal tourism both in Turkey and around the world indicates that the growth in this sector will continue. At the point of health tourism, young people, especially in the older age groups, prefer Turkey because of its better potential and economic sense in the treatment process. The average age of thermal tourism is over 60, but nowadays, people from 7 to 77 show interest in thermal hotels and the therapeutic elements of thermal water. Young people have recently increased their interest in thermal both in Turkey and in the world.”
