“I would like to warn the polluting elements once again”
Stating that experts will explain how to maintain a healthy life for a week, Mayor Bozbey said, “We have to protect our health and live healthy. In order to keep our air and environment clean, we have to encourage the use of bicycles, use environmentally friendly means of transportation such as e-scooters, take walks and live healthy. Let's use public transportation, bicycles and rail systems for our health, time and pocket. As administrators, we must provide an environment where citizens can breathe clean air. Unfortunately, the air in Bursa is polluted because the necessary measures are not taken. I would like to warn the polluting elements once again. We will take the necessary measures effectively. The health of us, children, young people and people of all ages is important. In our meetings with our Governor and Police Chief, we will ask for some streets and avenues of Bursa to be pedestrianized for a certain period of time on Sundays. We want people to use the areas with their bicycles or on foot. We expect all Bursa residents to participate in our activities this week.”
