The Most Important Way To Prevent Spring Allergy Is To Avoid Allergens

Saying that the most important way of protection is to avoid allergens, Başpınar listed the symptoms as follows: “Not going out during peak pollen hours, windy and dry weather, using hats, glasses and masks, wearing long-sleeved dresses and pants, using pollen filters at home and in the vehicle, taking a shower, changing clothes, staying away from flowery and grassy environments, staying away from smoking environments can be ways to protect against spring allergies.”

Başpınar said, “After a detailed examination; Spring allergy can be diagnosed with serum IgE and eosinophil levels, nasal smear, skin tests, specific allergen research in the blood.”

What is the treatment for Spring Allergy

Cortisone sprays and antiallergic drugs are used as medical treatment.

Immunotherapy can be performed in patients who show allergy symptoms at least two seasons a week or whose complaints persist for 6 months if they cannot be controlled with antiallergic drugs. Treatment with own blood (autohemeotherapy) and ozone therapy, especially used in complementary medicine, are also very useful, he concluded his speech by saying.
