In Antalya, 200 children will be circumcised in cooperation with Muratpaşa Municipality and Vitale Hospital. Visiting the circumcised children at the hospital, Mayor Ümit Uysal said, “In order to support our social works, we are collectively circumcising the children of our families in need. We thank our hospital, families and children for their cooperation.”
Within the scope of the 'Traditional Circumcision Feast' organized by Muratpaşa Municipality every year to support families in need, children are circumcised by Vitale Hospital. Muratpaşa Mayor Ümit Uysal visited the hospital where 35 children have been circumcised so far. Vitale Hospital Chairman of the Board of Directors Uzm. Dr. Yeşim Şengör about the health status of the children, Mayor Uysal gave gifts to the circumcised children. Uysal distributed puzzles, tetris, environmentalist generation education series and Antalyaspor t-shirts to the children.

Mayor Uysal said, “Circumcision is a part of our culture and belief world. It is a big economic obligation and expenditure item for our families. Vitale Hospital Chairman of the Board of Directors Specialist. Dr. Yeşim Şengör stated that they are happy to be a partner in the circumcision feast. Şengör said, “We started our circumcision cases as of August 2, and we have completed the circumcision process of about 35 children so far. Our circumcisions are carried out by our Urology Specialist Dr. Kemal Bulut under general anesthesia under operating room conditions. Thus, we aim for children to complete the circumcision process without any trauma both in terms of health and psychologically. Until September 15, we will perform all of our circumcisions. Approximately 200 children will be circumcised.”
