Proper nutrition in lipoedema should be considered as part of the treatment process. It is possible to alleviate the symptoms of lipedema with an anti-inflammatory, edema-reducing and balanced diet. It is recommended that the treatment process be carried out simultaneously with nutrition and physical therapy exercises. Lipoedema is resistant to low-calorie diet and very intense exercise. A cardiovascular surgeon must be consulted for the diagnosis of lipoedema. Treatment starts after diagnosis. Early diagnosis is important in lipedema.
